Bobby Lewis, development services director, summarized staff and commission findings: the proposed short-term rental is compatible with the neighborhood provided the conditions of approval are met. The applicant, who participated by phone, had no comments or requested clarifications during the public hearing. Council member Howard Hawk moved approval and the motion carried without opposition.
The conditional use permit is effective immediately and council closed the public hearing and action at 6:26 p.m.
