G. Harrington, chair of the Winter Harbor Board of Selectmen, called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and the board quickly moved through routine business, approving the Jan. 28, 2026 meeting minutes and Warrants #37 (Feb. 3) and #38 (Feb. 5) by recorded 3-0 votes.
The Selectmen accepted the Treasurer’s Report dated Feb. 6, 2026. The Trio-General Ledger balance was listed as $974,506.19; a six-month certificate of deposit was $107,539.29 and investments (bonds, market value) were listed at $2,868,410.00. The board also accepted the Tax Collector’s Report dated Feb. 6, 2026, which showed taxes receivable of $1,053,167.09 for fiscal year 2026, $13,690.19 for FY25 and $4,744.63 for FY24.
The approvals were procedural and recorded as unanimous 3-0 votes in the minutes. There were no budget-setting decisions or policy changes tied to these approvals at the meeting; they were recorded as routine acceptance of reports and payments.
