The Cloud Lake council reviewed an FPL street-lighting agreement on Nov. 14 authorizing the installation of a new street light across Shannondale Road from Town Hall. The monthly charge for the new light will be $7.47; council noted that discontinuing an outside light on the north side of Town Hall by the airport noise monitor would produce an approximate $37 monthly savings.
Mayor Russ Nidy was authorized to sign the agreement. The action was presented as a net savings to the town’s utility obligations once the older outside light is discontinued.
