Council members reported that the Town Hall exterior renovation has been completed and that the parking lot was coated and striped during the week of the Jan. 9 meeting. The town plans to move the flag pole (with attached mailbox) north to the flower bed and to restore the former sign for placement south of Town Hall in a flower bed, and councilors noted the flower beds need edging and periodic pressure washing twice a year.
On interior work, Council Member Kathleen Hoock said she examined options for interior doors and suggested bi‑fold rather than French doors; Council Member Alexandra Powell‑Sardinas suggested a roll‑up garage‑style door that would not require an interior track. The council is awaiting electrical estimates before approving further interior work.
