Town manager Robinson outlined clinic-focused elements of the early-actions package, saying design funding would support expanded primary care access, imaging capability and a small emergency room. "There is $500,000 in this to give us the ability to do design to so we can have imaging," he said.
Robinson described a residency program with housing to retain clinicians and vehicle purchases to transport patients to larger facilities when necessary. He and members of the public acknowledged that design funding does not equal ongoing operating revenue and that detailed operational funding would be addressed after the design phases and through clinic partners such as Mariposa.
