The Superintendent told the board that Phase 2 of seismic upgrades for the elementary wing is scheduled for summer 2027 and that the district’s project manager, Aimic, is finalizing the request for proposals for a general contractor.
The Superintendent said the RFP will be published April 15, with a mandatory pre-proposal conference expected April 24 or April 27 and that an evaluation committee will review proposals and, if necessary, proceed to interviews mid to late May. The superintendent asked that one or two board members serve on the evaluation committee to help with proposal review.
