At the April 7, 2026 board meeting, Chief Financial Officer Joe reported the district had “received revenue of 919,000 over our expenditures,” and said that expenditures sit at roughly 75% of budget after nine months.
Joe told board members that staff are finalizing the coming year’s budget with attention to staffing and auditing and that the district has sent department and classroom budget templates to staff to encourage more participatory budgeting. He said the board should expect a couple of budget resolutions on the agenda in the near term to appropriate grant funding the district received this year.
Board members asked few follow-up questions and the CFO offered to answer additional queries outside the meeting. The district did not take a formal vote on the budget at this meeting; the CFO characterized the current work as final preparation and said formal appropriations will be brought forward as resolutions.
