River Ridge CDD appoints Keith Merrill to fill vacant Seat 1

The River Ridge Community Development District Board unanimously appointed Keith Merrill to fill the unexpired Seat 1, a term that runs through November 2026. Mr. Schultz nominated Merrill and, on a motion by Mr. Schultz seconded by Mr. Twombly, the appointment carried with all in favor.
Mrs. Adams, acting as the meeting notary, administered the Oath of Office to Mr. Merrill and reviewed mandatory compliance items for public officers, including required ethics training, Form 1 disclosure instructions, the Sunshine Law and the Code of Ethics for Public Officers and Employees, and Form 8B for disclosing voting conflicts. Mr. Schultz had noted Merrill's lengthy HOA service and said Merrill “has contributed a great deal to the community,” supporting his nomination.
The Board thanked Mr. Ofenloch for his willingness to serve. The agenda noted that Staff will provide onboarding materials and that the Board will address procedural filings at the next meeting.
