Renee Baker, the city’s finance officer, told the council September showed timing-driven variances: revenues of about $1.9 million against interim expenses of about $3.7 million driven by project timing and receivables. She said a CD that matured in September earned about $16,001.76 in interest and will be renewed for another three-month term.
Baker flagged that some figures were not printed correctly in the packet PDF (2024 actuals) and said staff will update the published materials. She also noted the finance team is tracking capital projects and expects many to close by year-end; budget amendments tied to capital and TIF transfers will be presented with the budget ordinance at a future meeting.
