Chair (S3) presented Tab D and reported that items removed from the E area at North Knox Junior-Senior High School were listed as obsolete and recommended for disposal; the board approved declaring the items obsolete. The chair also presented a $21,000 donation from the Trailblunt Foundation and asked the board to accept it into a held account toward a future bus purchase. "We appreciate the $21,000 donation," Staff member (S1) said while describing the foundation's annual giving pattern.
Board members noted the donation will be held in a dedicated account for future bus purchase rather than used for operational tax funds. The motion to accept the donation and the motion to declare obsolete items were each seconded and carried by voice vote.
