Human Resources Director Kristin Budd asked the Council to post five personnel policy drafts for a 10-day employee comment period ahead of full Council consideration on July 21. The proposed postings include an amended Code of Conduct, an amended Safety SOP for work-related accidents and injuries, a new Social Media personnel directive, an amended Substance Abuse & Drug Testing directive, and a Uniform & Dress Code SOP.
Councilman Mike Detmer moved and Councilman Rob Kramer seconded; the Council unanimously approved posting the resolutions within county departments to solicit employee feedback. The minutes do not contain the full text of the drafts; Budd's recommendation was for internal posting only to allow staff comment prior to Council action later in July.
