Board members asked for clearer documentation tying proposed use changes to map edits and asked why some center-zone categories (including a “village center” label) were removed or consolidated. Staff said many boundary changes were intended to avoid parcels straddling multiple zones and promised a memo that will explain zone-by-zone rationales and provide dated versions of maps and tables for version control. The board set follow-up meetings: part 2 of the use-table review on August 13 and a mapping-focused session on August 27.
