The Concord Municipal Affordable Housing Trust voted June 3 to authorize the chair to sign a letter to legislative leaders supporting the LOHA Coalition’s proposed municipal option real estate transfer fee. LOHA board member Rich Feeley invited the Trust to sign onto the letter; the Trust’s motion to authorize the chair to sign reaffirmed the Trust’s prior position and passed 6-0.
Chair Keith Bergman moved to authorize the chair to sign the letter; Mike Lawson seconded and the trustees voted unanimously. The meeting packet included LOHA Coalition materials and a municipal sign-on document identifying coalition policy goals. Trustees noted this topic will be coordinated through the Housing Roundtable and Annual Town Meeting processes as appropriate.
