Trust asks Town Manager to seek Level 2 environmental study for 91B Main Street surplus property

The Concord Municipal Affordable Housing Trust voted on June 3 to request that the Town Manager pursue state approval for a Level 2 environmental assessment at the 91B Main Street surplus state property. The motion, moved by Mary Hartman and seconded by Keith Bergman, passed unanimously (6-0).
Regional Housing Services Office staff reported that Habitat for Humanity had reviewed existing environmental information and was evaluating whether it could proceed without a Level 2 study. Trustees also asked for a cash-flow analysis showing current Trust reserves, existing obligations and commitments, and timing of expenditures and potential reimbursements through unit sales; Liz Rust agreed to assist in developing the analysis. The Trust’s action formalizes a request for higher-level state review before moving forward with the site.
