Finance Manager Lucy Pierpont told the Selectboard she expects a leave beginning in early May and, upon return, plans to provide limited support (up to 10 hours per week) while training a new hire. Lucy said she does not expect to remain full-time in the role beyond May.
Treasurer Deb Jones told the board she can assume Finance Manager duties during Lucy's leave as she has previously. The board and staff agreed to document operations, evaluate staffing and outsourcing options, and develop a job description to address long-term needs for the Finance Manager position.
