Council approves minutes and March expenditures; schedules budget meetings
Summary
The Carlin City Council unanimously approved the Feb. 9 meeting minutes and expenditures for March 12–25, 2026. Mayor Kinney also announced a recurring Friday 4 p.m. budget meeting and encouraged department heads and the public to attend.
Councilmember Denise Taylor moved to approve the February 9, 2026 meeting minutes; Joel Nalley seconded and the council approved the minutes unanimously. The council then reviewed expenditures dated March 12–25, 2026; Lyndsie Whigham moved to approve the listed expenditures and purchase orders and the council voted unanimously to approve.
Mayor Cameron Kinney announced the city would hold budget meetings on Fridays at 4 p.m. and encouraged department heads and members of the public to attend so staff could complete necessary work for budget development. The meeting adjourned at 8:08 p.m.
