Councilmember Lyndsie Whigham and others raised concerns about the Legion’s legal entity status and liquor license issues in the packet; Mayor Kinney said the city would investigate those matters and that no action would be taken at the meeting. "The council appreciates everything the American Legion does," he said, but emphasized adherence to legal constraints.
