Tamworth Planning Board elects new officers; Elsa Weintraub named chair

The Tamworth Planning Board voted unanimously on March 25 to approve a slate of officers for the coming term, installing Elsa Weintraub as chair, Ann Pollard as vice chair, Andy Fisher as secretary and Larry Nickerson as treasurer. Anna Paddock made the nominations and Lianne Prentice seconded; the board approved the nominations without recorded opposition.
Board members also discussed leadership continuity during the meeting. Board member Lianne Prentice noted the Selectboard practice of limiting a person to serving as chair for no more than two years. After the vote Elsa Weintraub assumed the chair and presided over the remainder of the meeting. The meeting was called to order at 5:31 p.m. and adjourned at 7:04 p.m.
