The City of Pacific council voted unanimously July 28 to direct staff to waive rental fees for the Community Recreation Foundation of Pacific (CRFOP) for the group's annual auction on October 14, 2025. Council Member Helms moved the action and Council Member Putnam seconded; the roll call vote recorded ayes from Boles, Helms, Petersen, Putnam and Mann and the motion carried 5-0.
Leanne Guier, representing CRFOP, had requested the fee waiver during the meeting's public comment period. The council provided no additional conditions in the motion; staff were directed to implement the waiver. The decision relieves CRFOP of the city gymnasium rental charge for that single event on Oct. 14, 2025.
