Old Tappan planning board reappoints attorney, engineer and planner; sets meeting calendar

A motion to appoint the planning board attorney (named on the record as "Bob") passed on a voice vote; the board then nominated Tom Scrabble as borough engineer and approved Edward Snikas of Purchase Associates as borough planner after Mr. Snikas introduced himself to members.
The board also reappointed the recording/board secretary (Jen) and approved the calendar of regular meetings (second Wednesday, 7 p.m.) with a note to adjust for holidays and teacher convention conflicts. Planner Edward Snikas told the board the housing element amendments will be coordinated with the master plan work and that the board should reserve time in February for public hearings. "I'm a partner with the firm," Snikas said when introducing himself to the board.
