The Borough of Old Tappan Planning Board opened with required public‑meeting notices, the Pledge of Allegiance and a roll call before administering oaths to new and returning members. The chair asked Mike Azarian, John Kramer and Sam Petrocelli to stand and be sworn; an official oath was administered on the record.
During the reorganization segment the board moved through officer elections. Nick Mamari was nominated and closed by voice vote as vice chairman; the board also nominated and approved “Bob” as interim financial secretary to perform budget duties while a permanent officer is determined. The chair said the reorganization items would be followed by the regular meeting. "Congratulations, Bob," the chair said after the voice vote confirmed the appointment.
