Staff: utility ended free home energy assessments; Avon to develop mailer and outreach

Grace Tiezzi told the commission the utility has ended free assessments for the Energize CT Home Energy Solutions Program and described the commission and Town's response: "the utility has ended free assessments so the Town would develop a new mailer and NESE was in the process of developing social media resources and flyers for distribution," Tiezzi said.
Tiezzi said the Commission remains "on track to meet the 2026 goal." Commissioners discussed distribution channels and partnering with NESE for outreach; no funding changes were reported during the update.
