The club chair reported the results of the annual fashion show fundraiser, saying the event produced "just shy $11,970," which the club described as roughly $12,000 in net proceeds after expenses to be directed to the scholarship fund for local Mashpee students. The chair credited event chairs Carolyn Holmes and Kathy Olsen and a large team of volunteers for the event's success.
The meeting included specific thanks to raffle sellers, greeters and the luncheon organizer. The chair noted the fashion show is the club's largest scholarship fundraiser and said the group has more than doubled proceeds compared with earlier years. "So we're so thrilled to get all the support from everyone and, be able to provide the scholarships to the local Mashpee students every year," the chair said.
