Resident Ronnie Austad urged the city to clear a drainage ditch between Railway Avenue and Park Avenue; Mayor B. Schmiedeberg said he "will look at it." The mayor also said he anticipated the county would replace Main Street and sidewalks next year. Council discussed adding four loads of gravel to fill holes and the fire department parking spot; Schmiedeberg said he would fill some holes and spray weeds near the fire shed. The clerk was directed to send letters to homeowners on Main Street and West Main to trim overhanging trees.
On facilities, the council set a work date to repair lagoon fences and discussed staining and door repairs at the Community Center; Tatum (recorded as "Taum" in the minutes) and Aaron planned to spray the center when weather permits. The minutes record that the city siren is awaiting Ottertail Power Company to put up and test the replaced internal wiring.
