The Lake Bronson City Council on May 18 voted unanimously to purchase a 2006 Chevrolet pickup from the truck fund and to buy a tank and fitting for fire-department use. The motion was made by Councilor Clarence (Skip) Strom and seconded by Councilor Tatum Carlson.
Mayor B. Schmiedeberg noted the motion corrected an omission from the prior month's meeting and the council formalized the purchase at this session. "A motion was made by Strom, seconded by Carlson to purchase a 2006 Chevy pickup from the truck fund as well as a tank and fitting," the minutes state. The council recorded an all-in-favor vote.
The decision was presented under old business alongside scheduling for a community pet clinic and routine departmental updates. The council did not record a dollar amount for the vehicle in the minutes and no financing plan or delivery date was specified.
