District 25 introduces new principals, directors and technology leaders

District administrators introduced a slate of hires and role changes the board said will strengthen school operations. Superintendent staff and the board highlighted backgrounds and district ties: Jana, a registered dietitian with USDA experience, will serve as director of food and nutrition services; Monique, a longtime multilingual educator, will be multilingual and equity coordinator; Leslie Jasper joins as an MTSS and teaching & learning coordinator; Maria Bolos will be assistant principal at Ivy Hill; Ashley Campos will be assistant principal at Patton Elementary; Katie Paulson will be the district’s director of innovation and technology; and Brad Katz was celebrated for his transition to assistant director of technology infrastructure after approximately 27 years with the district.

Board members and new staff briefly spoke about the importance of continuity and the district’s investment in leadership. “We are thrilled to have her on board,” said the administrator introducing multiple hires. The board paused the meeting to allow each new administrator and their families to be acknowledged on camera and thanked staff for recruitment and selection efforts. No formal votes were required for these personnel announcements at the meeting.
