Operations staff reported a busy summer of safety training and maintenance. The presenter said facilities completed 634 work orders between June 1 and July 15, leaving 138 pending and 16 scheduled; HVAC teams completed 115 HVAC work orders with 20 pending and 8 scheduled. The speaker described the district's HVAC footprint as roughly 1,600 units (about 1,000 wall-mounted, 400 rooftop and 200 split units).
Transportation updates included ongoing training and the district’s electric-bus deployment: "We now have actually all 16 electric buses on the road," the operations speaker said, and noted about 45 diesel buses remain in service.
