The Cache Public Schools board approved a slate of adjunct teachers for the 2025-26 school year and separately approved two hires during the June 26 meeting. The adjuncts approved were Carol Perez (Spanish), Landen Abbott (U.S./Oklahoma History, Government, Economics), Robyn English (FACS), Marie Randall (Intermediate Math), Samuel Battle (PE/U.S./OK/Gov/Econ), and Detrick Whitehead (Mid-Level Social Studies). The motion to approve adjuncts was made by Brad Seaton and seconded by Scott Messner and passed 4-0.
In personnel actions, the board listed a proposed executive session to discuss hiring but did not convene into executive session. The board then approved hiring Samuel Battle as a paraprofessional/noncertified adjunct teacher and assistant basketball coach, and approved hiring Tameka Whitehead as a paraprofessional at SWBHC for the 2025-26 school year. Both hiring motions passed 4-0; Samuel Battle's hire was moved by Scott Messner and seconded by Brad Seaton; Tameka Whitehead's hire was moved by Scott Messner and seconded by Brad Seaton.
