Burleson said IXL benchmark assessments will be administered and that results should be available by the next board meeting. The spelling bee is scheduled for March 12 at 8:30 a.m. in the auditorium. Superintendent Gerrett Spears added that high-school benchmark testing will take place concurrently and that staff are discussing incentives for improved ACT results.
