Board spotlights student kindness, senior internship and a paraeducator praised for support

During the meeting Superintendent Gerrett Spears read staff notes recognizing first grader Ella Harden for being kind, helpful and respectful to classmates. The board also recognized senior Kaycee Matzke, who has been completing work-study and internship hours at Kiowa Rural Health Clinic; the clinic has offered her a full-time position after graduation.

A staff spotlight honored paraeducator Savannah Allen for consistent classroom support and help with athletics; Mr. Spears said she is "willing to do whatever, whenever, as a para" and that he appreciates being able to "count on her to get things done." The presentation drew no formal board action but highlighted individual student achievement and staff contributions to the district.
