In new business the Burlington board approved two administrative items: a $17,018.99 purchase of a 2025 Gator from Western Equipment funded by a security grant and an interlocal agreement with Alfalfa County for FY26.
Board member April Kisling moved to approve the Western Equipment quote and Lindsey Callison seconded; the motion passed 4–0 with Robert Hill absent. The board then approved the interlocal agreement with Alfalfa County (motion by Terry Graham, seconded by April Kisling), also passed 4–0.
Superintendent Spears indicated the equipment purchase would be charged to grant funding set aside for security-related purchases.
