Calera OKs traffic‑signal contract, sign changes and a new streetlight

Council voted unanimously to enter a contract with TLS Traffic Signal Services of Oklahoma City to repair and service traffic lights in town. The council also approved adding stop signs at 3rd Street and Rosehill Lane to create a three‑way intersection and removing stop signs on 3rd Street at Michelle while adding a 'Cross Traffic does not stop' sign on Michelle. Each traffic‑related motion passed with unanimous recorded votes.
Additionally, the council authorized installation of a streetlight and pole at the northeast corner of Haynie and A Street with the town agreeing to pay only the monthly operating cost for the light. Public Works was assigned follow‑up tasks to schedule installation and update signage.
