The Bristow Municipal Authority on Sept. 3 ratified the mayor’s execution of Change Order No. 2 and approved Change Order No. 3 for KBC Construction’s Wastewater Treatment Plant contract. Trustee Brian Peters moved for ratification of the mayor’s execution of Change Order No. 2 and Trustee Judd Johns seconded; the motion passed on a unanimous roll call. Trustee Peters then moved and Trustee Johns seconded approval of Change Order No. 3; that motion also passed unanimously.
The minutes state the original contract amount as $8,315,150. For Change Order No. 2 the minutes record an addition of $55,000 and list a 'new amount' of $8,611,583.20. For Change Order No. 3 the minutes record an addition of $131,585.08 and list a 'new amount' of $8,743,168.30. The minutes do not explain the discrepancy between the simple arithmetic sums and the 'new amount' figures recorded; the minutes present the amounts as written above without further clarification.
All present trustees voted Aye on both actions (Joe Church; Jeryn Fletcher; Heather Green; Judd Johns; Brian Peters; Jeff Roberts; Randy Witty). The minutes record the ratification and approval but no additional discussion about scope, schedule or funding source beyond prior lines referencing KBC Construction and loan/fund sources in the consent agenda items.
