Bristow council approves firefighters’ contract for 2024–25

The Bristow City Council on Sept. 16 approved a collective-bargaining agreement with the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF), Local No. 3613, covering fiscal year 2024–25 and authorized execution of the agreement. Councilmember Judd Johns moved for approval and the motion passed by unanimous roll call.
The agreement was listed for discussion during executive session under 25 O.S. §307(B)(2) and finalized after the closed deliberation. The council also voted to take no action on a separate proposed agreement with the Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge No. 141, during the same meeting. The IAFF approval followed routine post-session formalities and did not include further public amendments during the meeting.
