The board approved a Memorandum of Understanding (Exhibit 10.1) between Canton Public School District and Academy of Real Estate to provide Real Estate Certification preparation classes at Canton High School for no more than 15 students and not to exceed $25,000 for the 2025-2026 school year. The motion was approved after discussion and a motion by Mr. Glen Lacey, seconded by Mr. Peter Brown; minutes record the motion passing with affirmative votes.
The MOU establishes a district partnership for career-education instruction at the high school and sets a maximum expenditure of $25,000 for the program year; the minutes identify Exhibit 10.1 as the controlling document for additional terms.
