The Lower Township Council presented a certificate of appreciation to David Brand in recognition of more than 30 years of volunteer service on the township Planning Board and the Zoning Board of Adjustment.
"Your commitment has made a lasting and meaningful impact in Lower Township," Mayor Frank Sipple said while introducing the certificate. Council members joined the mayor at the front to thank Brand for his service.
The recognition was delivered during the council's work session; no action or vote was required. The council said the acknowledgement reflects decades of service spanning appointments beginning in 1986 and renewed participation on the zoning board since 1999.
