Canton board ratifies monthly claims, financial statements and routine contracts
Summary

Mr. Tony Foster presented the district’s February financial reports and requested approval of the monthly Claims Docket #26777–26933 and ratification of payments #26841–26843. Trustee Peter Brown moved to approve financial items 9.1–9.5; Trustee Glen Lacey seconded and the minutes record the motion as passed with all trustees voting "Aye."
The board also approved contract items: renewal of the 2025–2026 Worker’s Compensation Policy with Luba Casualty Insurance Company (Item 10.1) and an agreement with Prime Care Nursing to hire a full-time certified nursing assistant not to exceed $16,000 (Item 10.2). The board moved consideration of the superintendent’s contract renewal (Item 10.3) into executive session for further discussion.
