Calera’s General Government meeting on June 11 approved a lot‑split request from Prime Projects for property at 904 S McKinnley. Dustin Wolf presented the application and noted the lots will all exceed 6,500 square feet and be at least 60 feet wide; the plan envisions remodeling two existing homes and creating five additional single‑family home sites. The council’s recorded yes votes were Bobby Dooney, Cheryl Johnson, Brian Norton, Brenton Rucker and Jake Trujillo.
Dustin Wolf also told the council the sewer line in front of the property will be upgraded as part of the project. Planning and Zoning had previously approved the proposal. Council members did not record objections in the minutes and the motion passed as recorded.
