The Town of Carney Council approved two separate requests to move mobile homes onto town-area properties during its Aug. 8 meeting. Separately, the council approved Scott and Nadene Cowan’s request to move a mobile home onto property at 206 Chestnut following a motion by Mayor Darrel Gibbs and a second by Jason Hubach.
Both approvals were recorded in the minutes as unanimous votes ("Yea: All, Opposed: None"). The minutes do not record any special conditions, permits, or required follow-up inspections associated with either approval.
