Union City Council approves routine minutes, reports and moves into executive session

Union City Borough Council handled routine procedural business Sept. 16, approving the meeting agenda, minutes from Aug. 27, 2024, the secretary's report and motions to pay unpaid bills. All procedural motions carried unanimously.
Council President Riley Cross opened the meeting; Councilors Cross, Osborn, Steadman and Kerns were present. After regular business, the council adjourned the meeting at 6:50 p.m. and later convened an executive session from 6:58 p.m. to 7:42 p.m. "To discuss real estate, personnel & contracts with no action to be taken," the minutes state.
No formal actions were reported from the executive session; the meeting minutes will be attested to and filed as recorded.
