The Union City Borough Council voted unanimously on Aug. 27 to remove a lien of approximately $2,690 that the borough holds against the Erie County Landbank property at 121 East High Street.
Borough Manager Cindy Wells reported that the property was donated to the landbank and that the landbank requested the borough remove its lien for the full amount. Councilor Kerns moved to remove/satisfy the lien for the full amount; Councilor Steadman seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.
