Union City retroactively approves $5,000 ATV purchase for winter and park use

Union City Borough Council approved a retroactive purchase Oct. 7 of a 2021 CF Moto CFORCE 600 ATV from Marvin Phillips for $5,000, to be funded from the Capital Equipment fund. The borough plans to use the ATV for plowing bridges and sidewalks, park cleanup and trash collection.
Leisure Time in Corry inspected the ATV and reported only routine maintenance items (air filter, fluids, oil) and possible tires and wheel bearings in a year or so. Councilor Joyce moved and Councilor Steadman seconded the retroactive approval; the motion carried.
