Union City Council approves consent items, accepts EACOG audit

The Union City Borough Council unanimously approved routine consent items and passed a resolution accepting the EACOG audit at its Aug. 27 meeting.
Councilor Osborn moved and Councilor Steadman seconded approval of the meeting agenda as presented; the motion passed unanimously. Subsequent motions to approve the Aug. 13 minutes, accept the secretary’s report and order unpaid bills paid also passed unanimously. Council then passed a resolution accepting the Erie Area Council of Governments audit report as presented, on a motion from Councilor Osborn and a second from Councilor Steadman.
The actions were procedural and carried without dissent. The council’s formal votes were recorded as unanimous for the agenda, minutes, secretary’s report, bills, and the audit resolution. The meeting adjourned at 6:19 P.M.
