Manager Cindy Wells reported PennDOT is installing a catch basin at 104 East High Street and the borough will install a second basin; the property owner will dig a ditch and install a connecting pipe between the PennDOT basin and the borough basin.
Councilor Osborn moved and Councilor Kerns seconded a retroactive motion to approve an easement between Anthony Hickey (104 East High Street) and the borough. The easement directs the property owner to maintain the ditch and establishes the borough's responsibility for the two catch basins and approximately 60 feet of connecting pipe. The motion carried unanimously.
