Winston R-VI board approves agenda and consent items, schedules tax-rate hearing and adjourns

The Winston R-VI School Board approved the meeting agenda and the consent agenda during the July 20 regular session. Donita Youtsey called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.; Chris Lee moved to approve the agenda and Hydi Sheetz seconded. The minutes record that the agenda motion 'passed 6-0' and note Wyatt Christensen was not present at the time the motion was made.
Aaron Piburn moved to approve the consent agenda and Hydi Sheetz seconded; the minutes record that motion as 'passed 7-0.' The board later set the Tax Rate Hearing for the 2026–2027 school year for Aug. 17, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. (motion by Hydi Sheetz, second by Chris Lee). The meeting adjourned at 6:24 p.m.; the next regular meeting is scheduled for Aug. 17, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. following the tax meeting.
