Martin Zehnder moved and Wes Hostetler seconded a motion to declare 119 6th Street SW a public nuisance. The roll-call vote was recorded as follows: Liz Dreher, yes; Jeff Smith, yes; Wes Hostetler, no; Dustin Briggs, no; Kathy Burrier, yes; Martin Zehnder, yes. The motion carried and the minutes indicate the village may pursue the public-nuisance process, which can precede citation and court enforcement.
Foster also noted other zoning items including permit activity and that a pool permit for Steffan Weber had been denied and will proceed to the Board of Zoning Appeals on Sept. 16, 2025.
