McIntosh schedules Oct. 11 workshop to refine strategic plan and resident survey

Councilors agreed on Sept. 9 to hold a workshop to refine a draft strategic plan, vision statement and resident survey. Councilor Sindledecker had proposed sending a survey to residents and wanted the council to workshop the draft prior to wider distribution.
"I would call it a draft; I would not call it a final," Sindledecker said of the current vision statement, and councilors agreed the document should be refined in a workshop setting. The council set Monday, Oct. 11 at 7:15 p.m. as the workshop date and asked the town manager to work with Sindledecker to prepare a revised draft and survey ahead of the meeting. The manager will post the workshop notice and the draft materials in advance so the public has an opportunity to review them.
