Jennifer Bates, the city's Planning & Zoning Administrator, provided an update on active applications and recent permit activity. She told the council that Gateway project permits had just been approved (parcel BR02091), and that an intent-to-demo and rebuild application (BR01140) remains incomplete. Bates listed several parcels with sign applications under review and noted staff is working with applicants to bring proposals into compliance.
Bates also said the City of Blue Ridge had a permit issued for an interior remodel and that a temporary storage structure permit (parcel BR02270) was issued, among others. She said applications that were withdrawn or denied were not included in the packet and that staff would schedule complete applications on future meetings.
