De Pere council approves area development plan to add future streets near Southern Bridge Corridor

The De Pere Common Council on July 21 approved an area development plan to add future streets near the Southern Bridge Corridor, including the 2100 block of Lost Dolphin Road. Dan, the Planning Commission representative, told the council the commission unanimously recommended the plan.
"The Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval," Dan said during his presentation. The mayor opened and closed the public hearing with no members of the public requesting to speak. Alderperson Hansen moved to approve the plan and the council approved it by roll-call vote.
The action ratifies the plan into the city's official map for the area identified as Section GV 15 and will allow the city to plan for future road connections adjacent to Red Maple Road. The council did not record any conditions or amendments to the approval during the meeting.
