Strasburg advances cybersecurity resolution and hears multiple administrative updates

Council President Martin Zehnder read Village Administrator Mike Rosenberry’s report, which included a second reading of a cybersecurity resolution, updates on camera installations, and a list of administrative items for council review. Rosenberry reported $10,237.50 spent in 2025 on the village sidewalk and tree removal programs, said 55 surveys were submitted to OMEGA for Bodmer Avenue planning, and noted Gessner Sealrite is repairing Omni Fiber asphalt cut outs.
The administrator also reported plans to install a gate at the pickleball court fence to provide access to a light switch, ongoing leaf cleanup through Dec. 9, and that employee annual appraisals are due Dec. 15. Resolution 2025-42 (village policy on information and cyber security) was given its second reading by title during the meeting; the minutes record the reading but do not indicate final action.
